Lord, will the end be soon?
Will I be fighting off evil
with my cane?
I don't know your plans

of years long
Can I live a very small life
Now that I'm 30
and ready to get married?
Carve out a path dear Lord
that you and I only know
A path of righteousness
that you may call me your own
I'm tired of the dullness
I want passion and vibrancy

for new things, new life, new patterns
But who can say
Why man would mean anything to you
for we are small compared to space
to the planets, the universe
